GRAFTING INTO BASELINE CONDITIONS: Tbilisi Urban Forest - RuderalLecture ETH Zürich

We were delighted to be joined by Ruderal this semester who gave a lecture on their research and design projects in Tbilisi in Georgia. Following the lecture Sarah and Ben joined the students in the studio to discuss their projects from a landscape architecture and planning perspective.

Ruderal is a site engineering, landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm based in Tbilisi, Georgia. We design and develop sustainable site projects where ecology, culture, and history harmonize with the surrounding context. We partner with municipalities, institutions, community groups, and private developers to guide the design and planning process, from concept to construction supervision.
