A core tool of the MAS this semester was a model of Uetliberg. In week 6 of the semester, the students focused on building a large-scale model of the whole site. This model was the first common project as a class and involved a huge amount of collaboration. The model combined the the five sites along the Uetliberg flank and highlighted the steep topography, the dominance of Uetliberg and the proximity between the city and the forest. The model continues to be a key methodology for the students as they wrap up their final few weeks in the MAS Spring Semester.
